I havnt been out yet but have heard the western CT has been quite slow for flounder so far.  Togs have been a different story.  Many keepers have been caught off a few of the drops.  I have also heard pretty much the same thing bigoutdoors has heard about the niantic river.  Eastern CT seems like the best bet for flounder.

According to "The Fisherman" magazine flounder fishing has been pretty good. I am heading out tomorrow but I'm targeting stripers. I like using rigs with yellow grubs for flounder. They seem to produce pretty well. Good luck.

great day out. only 5 keepers.  the biggest was 17.  saw fish being cought in  almost every boat.  we fished between the 17 and 18 marker.  for us the out going tide was best.
