Was wondering if anyone came accross any blue crabs yet?  I'm interested in finding some in the Niantic/Old Lyme areas.  Thanks in advance

I know this is old but just in case, the crabs are fairly heavy in north cove of Old Saybrook.
I have heard that the crabs are now all over the CT coast line.
I did well on the incoming tide last Sat.
45 keepers in 5 hrs on hand lines.

Heard from other boards that the crabs have migrated that far, but unknown on numbers.
On a whim, I went to the Guilford/Madison state boat launch last Sunday night and only got 2 keepers.
Not much action at all.
I'm from North Branford and am looking for a local consistant spot to hit when the tides are right.
Pipe dream, huh?

Hey guys, the crabs still hitting or did they get scared off by the cold nights?

Any details on where you go off exit 62?  I used to head up to New London area but it's a bit of a haul for me.

Thanks!
