The Connecticut Rhode Island Coastal Fly Fishers (CTRI) http://www.connri-saltfly.com/ extends a warm and open invitation to the members of CT Fishing Reports.com to attend and participate in our Fly Tying Consortium to be held on Sunday March 2, 2008.

The intent of the CTRI hosted consortium is to bring fly tiers of all levels and interests together to share patterns, techniques and stories about this special aspect of the sport we love. Whether your interest is trout, bass, saltwater or carp, all fly tiers are welcome. Non fly tiers and beginners are encouraged to attend. It’s a great opportunity to learn to tie a fly with an experienced tier. CTRI members will provide hands on basic instruction.

There is no charge or fee. Fly tiers need only to bring their vises, materials and equipment.
The consortium will run from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the South Kensington Firehouse hall located in the South Kensington section of Berlin, CT.
